Trust & safety
Understand the safeguards. Know the limits.
Escrow works best when both parties know the terms, who handles the funds, and what happens if delivery is disputed.
What stays on record
- The agreed item list, amount, and delivery window.
- A single-use Bitcoin deposit address and confirmation status.
- Messages, delivery updates, and the activity timeline.
- Dispute evidence and staff-recorded release or refund decisions.
Who handles the funds
Deposit addresses are controlled by the platform's wallet operator. Quick Escrow tracks funding; staff handles Bitcoin payouts and refunds manually.
This is a custodial process. Settlement depends on staff action and Bitcoin network conditions.
Your inspection window
A 24-hour inspection window starts when the seller marks the deal as delivered. Check the delivery promptly and open a dispute if it does not meet the terms. If the window ends without a dispute, the escrow becomes eligible for staff-handled release.
How disputes are reviewed
Before committing to a deal
A public user ID is an account identifier, not proof of someone's identity or reputation. Check who you are trading with, describe the deliverables precisely, and keep relevant evidence in the escrow conversation.
Escrow does not guarantee product quality or a successful outcome. Bitcoin transfers cannot be reversed by the network; any refund requires a separate payment handled by staff.
